North of Winne’s Dock, along the Hudson River, was a peach orchard, owned and operated by the Winne family. We don’t have too much info about this orchard other than seeing that existed on old survey maps.

We do know however, that this land was taken, similar to other Winne properties. As in most cases, green land is replaced with some sort of government building and in this case, petroleum buildings are now seen on the land.

What makes this property particularly interesting is the CITGO petroleum buildings all over the place. As almost everyone knows, the Rockefeller family had a monopoly on oil and they were the wealthiest family in the US because of it.

The pattern of destruction is no lie. If you want to dive deeper into what we are talking about just read the following: https://winne.family/winne-family-destruction-during-nelson-rockefeller-administration-in-new-york/
